Mitsubishi has long been a company dedicated to progress and is the fastest-growing Asian brand in the US for the second consecutive year. This award, first presented last year at the San Antonio Auto & Truck Show, recognizes family vehicles that demonstrate a commitment to improving environmental performance. Green Car Journal will be presenting this award annually, with the goal of making it easier for families to take control of their environmental impact. This year's winner will be announced at the show on Thursday, November 21.

The Outlander PHEV is the best-selling plug-in hybrid SUV, combining aspects of electric, utility and crossover vehicles into a single amazing package. Sporting a 22-mile all-electric driving range, the Outlander can switch to a gas motor when necessary to provide continual smooth driving that nets a fuel-sipping 74 MPG-e. Additionally, the Outlander is equipped with Mitsubishi's Super All-Wheel Control system that balances twin electric motors to ensure superior control even in the harshest of road conditions.

Combining the best of all available worlds, the Outlander PHEV has proven once again that it is a force for good. If you are interested in viewing an Outlander for yourself, or any of Mitsubishi's other fine vehicles, we invite you to visit our showroom. Located at 1590 Hylan Blvd, on Staten Island, we are Island Mitsubishi and it would be our genuine pleasure to serve you.
